Providing an 27 year tradition of personal service in the acquisition and marketing of real estate.
Peter Alan Chovanes joined Pacific Union to specialize in condominiums, single-family homes, and investment properties. He began his successful career over 27 years ago as an office-leasing specialist with Cushman & Wakefield. He was principally responsible for negotiating complex multi-million dollar commercial leases for Fortune 500 companies with offices in San Francisco. In 1989, he became a California licensed real estate broker and opened his own office specializing in residential properties. Peter was instrumental in the listing and marketing of a $45 million Hillsborough estate. He was primarily responsible for a worldwide marketing and advertising program that stretched from San Francisco to Dubai.
Peter holds a degree in Business Marketing from Cal State Chico and has been certified as an international property specialist (CIPS) by the National Association of Realtors. He is a proud supporter of the Golden Gate Business Association, the National Kidney Foundation, and the Glide Memorial Church. He also currently serves on the board of the Laurel Heights Improvement Association. He has been published in newspapers and wrote several articles on international real estate. Peter's skills in negotiation involve bringing a level of comfort over the buying and selling process. His clients frequently comment on his integrity and calm personality that help to create a smooth transaction. I can't stress enough the quality of work that Peter did for us in buying our home. Even after the closing he helped with contractors electricians, and other needs, and today he is there for us whenever we have any kind of housing needs. He has really become one of our best assets in San Francisco.
Peter, a native of Piedmont, owns several properties in the city and enjoys looking for good investment opportunities for friends and clients. He enjoys playing tennis, cooking, and snow skiing. He also travels to his home in Spain where he loves spending long lunches with friends and family.
Peter is a member of the Market Watch group of Pacific Union that specializes in the districts of Noe and Eureka Valleys, Upper Market, Lower Pacific Heights, Potrero Hill, and SOMA.
